When did you first know you wanted to work in sport?
2011.8.17 - EPL transfer window in summer. When Cesc Fabregas left Arsenal to FCBarcelona, I stared to feel like I want to change something instead of just watching them happened. I started to realize - Sport to me, it was not just about the game. It was about decisions. People make decisions, right or wrong, better or worse. It is these decisions help the world of sport roll and develop, and they come from people. I want to be one of them. And I want to make more right decisions, to help this beloved world to be better.
What’s your dream job?
Sport agent / Fan engagement planner for football clubs
What’s your greatest fear?
Walls or cultural desert.
You are given the power to make one change to the Olympics, what would it be?
I think I would let esports get in the door to have a try.
What mistakes do sports make when they target people like you?
Wrongly understand the definition of ‘a cool game’ through young generation side during marketing. Too much focus on the increasing of awareness while ignore about social responsibilities. For those right holders who want to explore their overseas markets, they should remember to do customer research before they design a whole marketing plan for specific markets. At least from my perspective as a transnational fan, sometimes I feel like they could understand China market a little bit more.
